Sea Otters

Sea otters are marine mammals that live in the Pacific Ocean. They are members of the weasel family with flat tails and thick fur.
Sea otter babies are called pups.
Sea otters eat 10 pounds of food a day. This gives them energy to hunt. When they eat they use their tummies as plates.
Sea otters groom themselves for many hours every day. They have two layers of fur. One layer keeps the water out and the second layer keeps them warm.
